My Happy List: The Bahamas

I just returned from one big happy week which was our trip to the Bahamas with friends.

a mural at a shop at the Grand Bahama International Airport

airport sculptures

We stayed at the Cove in the Atlantis. Lovely lily ponds surround the hotel entrance.

Cove pool/beach/ocean view outside our hotel room window.

We enjoyed a cabana on the beach. Melissa is checking out the view.

my happy, happy, happy feet

beautiful beachy blues

the back of the cabana that leads to the beach

outside the cabana it was like having our own private beach

cabana food

a picturesque scene outside the Atlantis Royal Towers

and a gigantic horse fountain

lush landscapes made me happy

The One & Only Clubhouse has intriguing artwork. We ate at the Dune restaurant there on our second night. We were recently watching a James Bond movie and noticed it was filmed there!

Watching the fish in the Royal Towers aquarium made me happy.

what a fish face! haha

Exotic flowers there made me happy.

And the food, oh my!

the cupcakes sparkled

refreshing berries on tapioca

Dining at Graycliff on our last evening there made me happy

as well as making these precious memories with Dan.

My view from where I sat at Graycliff.

Have you been to the Bahamas?

I am linking up with Travel Photo Mondays,

  9. This looks like a wonderful vacation. Great things to look at and lots of relaxation. I'm amazed at how private the cabana seemed at such a hot tourist spot.

Great to have you at "Oh, the PLACES I've been!".

  13. Loved your post. What wonderful memories you two have. My favorites are the costumes which I thought at first were real people, the horses and the berries on tapioca.
