How about a ballerina with a heart for Valentine's Day? I wrote here about how I had plans for this necklace I recently found.
I used this scrap of fabric
and glued it around a large heart shape. You can see a hole in the upper left of the heart (calling out for a ribbon!). I wrapped the trim this way to pull down the fabric to make the heart shape. As it turned out, the placement of the trim was perfect for decoration and holding embellishments.
I used The Ultimate! glue, taped the trim down
and finished off the back with a piece of cardstock.
My inspiration for this came from Cerri's the Little Pink Studio tuesday tutorial project here. After I made the one above, I had to make a smaller one like hers since I had purchased this little ballerina from her.
This sweet hanging was one of Cerri's The Little Pink Box projects from last summer. I didn't know about Cerri's blog back then so I went through my stash so I could make one too. It came out pretty much like hers, here.
And finally, I made these buttons from Ashleigh's Sweetheart Sketch so she could hand them out to interested customers during her reception on Friday evening.
I got creative with them.
and made another sweet heart decoration for my inspiration board.
My inspiration board is filling up with Patty's Pretty Things.
And it is truly inspiring me!
Are you making sweet hearts for Valentine's Day too?
