Eight Wonderful Winnings

The mail has been very exciting for me lately! I won some really cool things from generous ladies of the Grow Your Blog (GYB) party, hosted by Vicki of 2 Bags Full:

(Prize #1) An Inspiration Holder from Petite Michelle Louise

I have drooled over Michelle's blog for a very long time. Have you seen her studio? Her studio has offered me inspiration for designing my creative space. Her blog is full of charming images that one could spend a whole day admiring.

(Prize #2) A tote bag from Maggie Raguse with a photo of her Uncle Marvin

See the boy in the center of the photo on the left? It's Maggie's Uncle Marvin. He's on this precious tote bag! Maggie is an amazing artist who draws illustrations for clothes pattern companies and more. She sent me the photo as well to use in my creative endeavors. I look forward to keeping up with Maggie's amazing art on her blog.

(Prize #3) Crocheted cozies made by Valerie of Yarni Gras!

They are very pretty and useful! I want to learn how to make these.

(Prize #4) A Persephone Mirabilia cross-stitch pattern from Tazzy

This is something new to me from the cross-stitch world and is packaged so beautifully! I haven't done needlework in ages and this provides inspiration to get me back into it!

(Prize #5) Three doll patterns from Birgit of Swapping Howdies with a postcard from Germany

I cannot wait to make these dolls! Dan was especially interested in the postcard since he travels to Germany. It's great having blog friends from around the world!

Other wonderful winnings that came to me lately:

(Prize #6) Made with Love charm created by Cathy Habermann from Hands on Design

Cathy created it for her 25th wedding anniversary. I found her through GYB and she was giving these charms away if you send a stamped addressed self envelope. Here is her blog post about it and I think she still has more to give out until they are gone. It's really sweet and will be used on something special!

(Prize #7) Spring-stenciled burlap art from Larissa of Prodigal Pieces

The studded sides give added appeal to this delightful piece of art!

(Prize #8) Spode sugar and creamer from Jenny & Aaron of Everyday is a Holiday

I love their adorable shape. They will go perfectly with my holiday china I mentioned here.

The mail will never be the same as it has been exciting for sure. This experience had provided inspiration for me to try new creative things. Many thanks to everyone for your generosity!

You need to buy a lottery ticket since you seem to be on a winning streak.

I love everything, but the Inspiration holder by Michelle is so unique, it has to be my favorite.

  7. Lucky girl! I once saw a Victoria magazine article on the woman who makes the Mirabillia patterns. She's the daughter of the woman who makes the Told in a Garden patterns, anyway, I fell in love with the Mirabillia fairies and princesses, and even bought one, I think...somewhere...but haven't made it yet. Typical. Hope you enjoy all your wonderful treasures.
