My Happy List: Pinks & Greens

A German Glass Glitter Easter egg, a donkey and a lamb with lots of pink makes me happy.

This wooden shape was in with a vintage stash of sewing supplies I purchased, perhaps used for darning. Looked like an egg to me so I glittered it up using Elmer's Glue as shown above.

Easter tags make me happy!

All were cut out with the Silhouette Cameo. Graphics compliments of The Graphics Fairy blog.

More painting completed for the creative space. This shelf went to another cabinet that Ashleigh took for her apartment and I thought I could use it here. See the little piece on the right?

The paint used was Maison Blanche Vanille followed by Light Brown Antique Wax.

My Mom just returned this to me. I bought it for our kids when they were small, then gave it to Mom for the grandkids. It was a barn red color. Unfortunately, sometimes I forget to snap before pictures. I need a playmate!

While talking about playing, why is it that since I purchased a dollhouse I am now seeing them everywhere! It just makes me so happy!

I must confess that I purchased a 2nd dollhouse (the one on the bottom right) because it included all of the furniture.

I love to analyze floor plans and placement of furniture in real life. It's so cute how these dollhouses have different floor plans. Some even have laundry rooms.

I've started a collection within a collection: the cream colored furniture that go with the dollhouses.

I'll be checking Ebay for more!

And finally, I'm trying to eat more greens. My latest motto is eat something green at lunch and dinner. That's what you all probably already do, right? Well, I hadn't been doing a good job of this lately.

What is on your happy list this week?

  4. I love dollhouses and wish I had one. I don't have a good place to put one right now, but someday . . . I love that little dish cabinet, too. I have a little doll wardrobe that my grandfather made for me when I was little. I need to display it in some pretty way.

  12. Patty, that egg is beautiful! May I ask where you buy your German glass glitter? It looks so much prettier than regular glitter. The doll house you bought is wonderful and the beige furniture is perfect for it. What a treasure the little cupboard is and what memories to pass down from generation to generation! I enjoyed the previous post "Passport to Paradise," It looks like a fabulous place to visit. The picture of you in that stroller is priceless!
