May's Featured Artist at the Art Bank: Ashleigh Antle

I enjoy having a daughter who is an artist.

We attended Ashleigh's show at the Art Bank on Mass Ave in Indy. These are her latest charcoal drawings. Can you tell which movies these drawings are from? The drawing on the left is Jack Nicholson in The Shining, and the drawing on the right is Ewan McGregor in Trainspotting.

She had the front room all to herself.

She amazes me how she can hang portraits on the wall so quickly and straight!

This is a self portrait she drew several years ago.

She told me I could have it. Yippee!

Dan enjoys going to the Art Bank as well. We love to support Ashleigh's art endeavors.

Other talented Art Bank artists were on hand to discuss their work as well.

Mass Ave is such a neat place to spend an evening. We had dinner at Mesh and it was as delicious as always! They serve Graeter's ice cream for dessert. Have you ever had Graeters ice cream? It's a Cincinnati, Ohio (our hometown) favorite and we are glad to see that it is available in Indy.

These hubcaps were recently created and installed by Art Bank artists in the open lot across the street from the Bank. They really spruce up the east end of Mass Ave.

Thanks for letting me share Ashleigh's work with you. Here's to wishing you a very happy Mother's Day!
