What Patty Creates

Last week I shared my creative space in Karen Valentine's blogger party. This week in my creative space I've been busy making cards, gift tags and buttons for my display at the Logan Village Mall and for September 20th when Ashleigh and I will have a booth at Make Art. Be Art. Buy Art. at Fountain Square in downtown Indianapolis.

Here are some of the things I have been working on. I liked this vintage daisy image so much that I made not only a card, but gift tags out of it too. Deciding how to embellish the images is great fun. Here I cut out the large daisy from the image and layered two more on top of the one on the card with adhesive foam mount squares. (Daisies are special to me because they were my chosen flowers in our wedding.)

Besides dimension with the foam mount squares, adding glitter and ribbon is great fun also.

Here are some wedding cards. The upper one has two ties inside that can be played with to give it a different look.

On this Thanksgiving card, I cut out the top leaf, added glitter and mounted it to make it stand out.

More Thanksgiving paper goods: a Pilgrim card and table place cards.

And here are some other miscellaneous cards. All of the images on this post (except for the flower in the top left of this photo which is a painting of Ashleigh's) are from The Graphics Fairy blog.

And finally, here are some Thanksgiving flair/buttons that can be used for embellishing projects.

As you can imagine, I'm having a great and productive time in my creative space!
