The Children's Museum Guild's Haunted House: Creepy Carnival

Oh My Goodness, as an Indy blogger I got to preview the Indianapolis Children's Museum Guild's Haunted House. And what a treat that was! This is an annual event and would you believe, I have never been to it before! I've been missing some good stuff! Even if you are not a child, you will enjoy it because it is VERY well done!

Each year has a theme and this year's is Creepy Carnival. I LOVE carnivals, don't you?

I have mixed feelings here: I don't want to ruin it for you in case you decide to go, but this was a photographer's dream opportunity! Not to say I am a professional photographer, but I do enjoy taking pictures for my blog. I'll just show you a few things I saw there. I ran into some very frightening characters.

They scared me pretty bad!

There are many rooms jam packed with different carnival themes such as clown town,

an arcade,

and a place to have your fortune told (by Miss Fortune) if you dare.

If you get hungry, some of the treats you will find there are lemon snake ups, lice cream and wicked hot wings, to name a few.

I was amazed by the time and effort put into this huge production. Also, much thought went into making it just right for little ones. So be sure to not miss the Children's Museum Guild's Haunted House this year. You can make some new friends there

like I did - I found Paul Stanley!

On the evening of October 10th, Creepy Carnival will open with a frightful family Halloween party called Black Hat Bash. There will be food stations and beverages, a costume parade, games and activities, a dance and more! Then on October 11th the Haunted House will open and continue on through October 31st.

This is a sponsored post on behalf of Indianapolis Children's Museum. I received free admission to preview this haunted house. All opinions are 100% my own.

  4. Patty- Hi!! It's Christine from PTE! I just happened across your fabulous blog because I was looking for reviews on this year's haunted house. I am so thrilled that you liked it because I was one of the people behind the scenes building, decorating, and painting this extra Creepy Carnival for the Children's Museum Guild this year!! It was so much fun and I am thrilled that I saw your review and can now follow your blog!! Take care!
