I used a black striped ribbon placing double sided tape every so often onto a 12" styrofoam wreath to help the ribbon to adhere. I had to practice the winding of the ribbon a few times to get it right because it bunched easily if it was pulled too tight. I used straight pins to hold the loop and bow in place.
