Red & Gold Table

I found this table cloth with a pretty embroidered cut out pattern on sale the other day. I like how the beautiful wood of the table peeks out here.

Lenox Bellina Gold china and a couple of red bowls were added.

I ironed my red napkins and folded them into triangles.

I think I inherited the love of the color red from my maternal grandmother, Henrietta. When my mother and I would visit her, she would show us her latest clothing acquisition. It usually was red. I think of her when I see red things. I loved her so much. She called me "Patty Boo."

Back to the tablescape. The flatware is Lenox Eternal Gold and the stemware is Lenox Tuscany.

Makes me want to cook something special. I sure am enjoying summer vacation, doing all these fun things around the house.  I am eager to see what you have been putting on your tables.

  1. Oh, I love that...."Patty Boo." So sweet, so endearing. This is a beautiful table, Patty. The red and gold combination looks quite regal! Everything is perfectly aligned with that wonderful table linen. The cutwork on it is gorgeous!!! The bowl from Southern Living has the most interesting and eye-catching design!!! Very nice! Have a wonderful weekend!
