I was gathering heart items I have around the house to make some kind of collage for Valentine's Day. When I pulled out this heart shaped baking sheet meant for a large chocolate chip cookie, I thought about something I could do with it...
I am just crazy over chalk board paint and wanted to have something to write on in the kitchen. I had sprayed these wine bottles and had fun with them over the holidays with their clothes.
And I later used them for my version of a hot chocolate stand.
But I wanted more space to write on, so I sprayed the pan with a few coats!
Now there's plenty of room for Dan to leave me love notes.
And he did!

ReplyDeleteThis is the third post I've read tonight that is about chalkboard paint. All your projects are so great that I'd run out to the all night paint store for a can, if such a place existed!

ReplyDeleteYou clever girl! I love this! And I love the hubby's note to you...how nice that he can take a hint! :-) Where did you get the precious little deer in the jar in the first picture? I'd like to make a little "snow globe" craft like that myself. aleakaskey@yahoo.com
