One of the things I have had the desire to make for a long time is a ribbon organizer spool. When this image appeared on The Graphics Fairy blog recently, I knew the time had come to make one.

I imported the image into my Silhouette Cameo machine, traced it and offset it. Then I added a rounded rectangle to the bottom to hold the ribbon and then welded the two shapes together. I printed and cut two of them, one after flipping it horizontally so the spool would have a back. I cut another shape from a cereal box and sandwiched them together with Mod Podge. Easy peasy, as they say... I suppose I like her so much because of her autumn jewel colors.
