The Miller Bag in Paper Form

Since I was taking part in the Chaotic Goddess Local Flavor Swap (that took place here), I needed to think of goodies representing my location that I could send to my swapping partner. After already purchasing some things, I remembered that the Vera Bradley manufacturing plant is in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Darn! One of the first things that came to my mind was the Vera Bradley Miller bag. How could I represent the VB Miller bag in my local flavor swap? Since we could spend no more than $30, a VB bag or any item by then was cost prohibitive because I had already made some purchases for my swap. So I thought of a way to include a VB Miller bag without spending money.

Since I love to make cards with my Silhouette Cameo electronic cutting machine, I thought about making VB cards. One thing led to another and this is what I came up with, VB Miller bag cards in several patterns. Oh, how I love my Cameo machine!

First, I searched online for photos of VB fabrics that I could download and insert onto blank word documents. I couldn't find pictures of current fabric patterns that were downloadable, but I did find older patterns on Ebay.

Then I downloaded a picture of the Miller bag and made an outline of it on the Silhouette. I cut out several bags from different fabric patterns.

And here they are, ready for gift giving and note-writing.
