Woodland Walk Ring

When I saw this Woodland Walk Printable Collage Sheet on The Graphics Fairy blog, I knew I would be doing something special with it. Isn't it wonderful!

Then I saw a hamburger album on Joy's Life made with the Silhouette Cameo and knew what I would do with the Woodland Walk Collage Sheet.

I imported them into my Silhouette Cameo and cut them apart with the knife on the machine. Then I traced and offset them, printed two copies (one flipped horizontally for the back) and cut them out. I cut the shapes a third time out of cereal boxes. Then I sandwiched the cardboard in-between the front and back shapes and Mod Podged them together. 

I've been needing a brayer, and fortunately found one in a box when I was cleaning the basement. It's from a Playdoh kit LOL. It worked just fine for making sure there weren't any bubbles after sticking the pieces together.

Mine isn't necessarily a book like the hamburger inspiration above, but when my little grandson is big enough, we can use it as an educational tool by taking the pieces off the ring and talking about them together.
