These pumpkins I saw in Florida made me happy! |
Here's a quick little Halloween decoration I found online. It made me think of my 5 month old grandson.

I printed if off, cut it out, punched holes, added white brads and hung it in my office. It's small and so cute.
Marfi of Incipient Wings sent me this colorful Dia De Los Muertos shot glass! Marfi who is totally into Halloween is a great storyteller of spooky stories. Thank you Marfi for this sweet treat in the mail!
Speaking of cards, have you seen this adorable free printable? Sara of Confetti Sunshine is sharing it with us. I got so excited I immediately printed some off. I thought Ashleigh might like to have some and she did! It makes me happy when she gets excited about stuff I like.
I wanted to show you this little post office. I told you about how I visited Horton's of Tipton. On my way home I saw many cars turning on a street next to a Dollar Store. The Dollar Store was situated by itself on a country road which seemed very odd to me. I wanted to see if I could find some artificial pumpkins and ask what was going on with all the cars so I stopped in. I found out that there was a huge Earth Festival going on in Atlanta, Indiana and was encouraged to stop by. So I did. This is the post office in the little town that hosts the huge Earth Festival - It seemed like such a dichotomy to me because the festival was one of the largest I had ever seen.
Also on my happy list is spending time with my best friend, Rose. I always enjoy meeting her for dinner. I had experienced a horrible headache all that day before we met and I noticed that when we were halfway through our visit, my headache was gone! I think the headache may have been from my starting to wear a contact in my left eye. During my recent eye exam I was told I had a hyperoptic shift and no longer needed help with distance vision. Now I only need to wear one cantact in the left eye for close up. My brain is trying to figure this out and I sure hope it works for me. I do like not having to wear glasses all the time.
What's on your happy list today? Come join us!

ReplyDeleteHello dear Patty
ReplyDeleteYou're always doing interesting things!
Thank you for the link to Sara's blog - I'll have a look - bloggers are such kind souls I find!
I had contacts for a while and loved the "no glasses" look, but sadly one eye felt like I had a hair or something in my eye all the time, so I didn't persevere!
Glad they're good for you - I imagine the headache will go in time.
Take care
Shane
Good luck with your contact, Patty. I also wear one contact and it seems to work well for me. I like the little skeleton you made, as well as your notecards. I enjoyed the post where you scavenger hunted in Florida too!
