I recently found these beautiful pearl-type buttons at a local antique shop.
I have been wanting to go through my big jar of buttons and just look at them and see what I have in there. I decided to sort them, removing the threads, washing some and putting some in little baggies so I would know what I have for future projects. It took me 2 days but it was worth it and a fun thing to do during the blizzard that was going on here in Indiana.
My button search paid off when I found this beautiful white rose button.
It's new home is in the special jar on my desk with all of my very favorite little treasures.
So this is my Pinterest inspiration. Placing buttons in a vintage jello heart shaped mold.
This great and simple inspiration came from here:

I have a box of buttons but i have lost them can't find them anywhere and now always needing buttons and have to buy them.

You have a knack for turning the most simple things in to the most beautiful things!
ReplyDeleteHello from Spain: I really like the buttons. I also have many. Great idea those boxes. Very inspiring. Keep in touch
ReplyDeleteI absolutely adore buttons and think the heart is the perfect container. I can see a jar of buttons and immediately think of my grandmother as she saved them. I wish I had that jar now!
