Dan brought home some beau-tea-ful mugs and porcelain utensils from a business trip. They were given to him as a gift from one of his Korean colleagues.
I love the art on the mugs and lids. The handles of the utensils are pretty too.
I am happy about my growing pile of doilies
and upholstery fabric samples a friend gave me from her business.
When I saw this baby girl on the Graphics Fairy blog, I knew I had to make her into tags.
And finally, when I entered the Goodwill store the other day, one of the first things I saw was this Herb Alpert record album. Boy did it bring back memories! We had it in our home while I was growing up and I was just talking to Dan the other day about how risque I thought it was back then. The whipped cream was very seductive. The other thing is that when I was a kid, I tapped danced to Spanish Flea and I can still remember the steps so I can dance to it today. I even have tap shoes. It's a sweet memory.
What is on your happy list this week?

Definitely on my Happy List would be a video of you tap dancing!
ReplyDeleteI love the tea coups, utensils, and the lace doilies, such details. You have so many delightful things to be Happy about. Memories are the BEST!
ReplyDeleteThose mugs are gorgeous! And I love a stack of doilies...makes me happy just to arrange them! I guess I did my happy list yesterday. It's beautiful weather to do things here in Florida. We went for a bike ride yesterday. Sweet hugs!
ReplyDeletePatty, Did you buy that LP? :):) I love those mugs too. So pretty. I wish you would get a class on making those tags, at the Horton's store in Tipton. It looks so nice !!! Hope you get some thawing today. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteO, Patty...memories!! This was my favorite album in the whole world...I played the record so much, it became scratched and worn out. I wish I had kept the album cover.....it's adorable.
ReplyDeleteI love your cups and flatware....

Love your mugs and your baby girl tags. Have a great week, Patty!
ReplyDeleteWow, such pretty mugs! Lots of happy here today. I'm trying SO HARD to find the positive and be happy again, but I'm failing miserably. But your post is encouraging!
ReplyDeletelove all the things that made you happy in your post. Tijuana Brass I'd forgotten that I loved to listen to that music , it certainly was music that made you want to dance.
ReplyDeleteLots of goodies! I remember Herb Albert well, but can't say I every tap danced to his music - can't tap dance. :D
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your "happy list".
Holy smokes, that is a risque cover...lol. But very fun too. I took some tap for rhythm when I was figure skating. We all, who were skating to get into the Olympics did tap for rhythm and ballet for grace. Now I love to dance the Flamenco and stomp around in a bit of a different way. :)
ReplyDeleteThe mugs are gorgeous! Are the lids usable as coasters to save staining the table?
ReplyDeletePatty you got some awesome stuff, but I love the mugs with the lids. You got a good grab!
ReplyDeleteOMG…My mom also had that album and I loved the song "a Taste of Honey"…I also was intrigued by the cover!! Love the little spoons from Korea!
ReplyDeletePatty,
ReplyDeleteI just love your new treasures, especially the gorgeous flatware!
Oh my gosh...I used to love Heb Albert - that was always my summer music. The flatware and cups are just beautiful.
