I attended another workshop with The Vintage Farmhouse at Boone County Uniques. This time we made a necklace, a bird with nest on an old bed spring, and a spring banner.
Making the necklace was an interesting process. We cut out a circle of the French ephemera and used Elmer's glue to adhere it to the bezel cup. We cut out butterflies, glued them on, and finished it by gluing in the cabochon.
For the birds nest, we used hot glue to put everything together.
My banner I made in class didn't turn out particularly well so after I got home, I made another. Everything was cut out with the Silhouette Cameo.
Nicki Winkles has amazing ideas and it was a fun class.
These are the projects I made at Nicki's March workshop.
You can read more about them here.
Happy Spring to you!
