Indianapolis Indians VIP Tour

On behalf of Indy Social Media Moms (ISMM) and the Indianapolis Indians, five of we ISMM bloggers took a VIP tour behind the scenes of Victory Field and the Indianapolis Indians baseball team.

At Victory Field, in downtown Indianapolis, we started the tour on the suite level where we saw several suites and the party terrace.

Here's a look inside and outside the suite, and the catered food was very inviting! There are benefits galore for watching the game from these areas!

We peeked into the press box

and visited the two stores there.

We thought the pink bats were a nice touch! I couldn't resist trying one out. Watch out, Indians!

And of course, we are #1! The Indians were International League West Champions for 2012 and 2013!

We walked to the outfield lawn where seats cost $8 and you can bring your own blanket, food and drink. We took our tour before the game so the lawn was still empty, but when I looked over during the game, it was jam packed with fans and families.

We circled around through the entrance and saw all kinds of fun things going on.

Then we came to The Cove, a place where adults pay $35 for their ticket and receive a $10 food and beverage credit during the game.

Then we walked to our final destination...

and stood on the field. It was a thrill to be down there and what a nice view of the city!

I learned so much about Victory Field through this tour! For more information about taking a Victory Field tour of your own, click here.

That evening, the 239th anniversary of the United States Army was celebrated. A large group of young men and women were sworn in before the game.

I always enjoy going to the Indians baseball game. I learned about many special events that go on there. For example, did you know that kids eat free on Sundays? Also, there is the Knot Hole Kids Club, where children aged 14 and under can receive a full season pass for $16. On Mondays, hot dogs, peanuts, Cracker Jacks, chips and popcorn are on sale for just $1 each. Oh, and there is a fireworks show every Friday evening. On July, 2, 3, and 4, there will be an Independence fireworks display each evening. All of this information and MUCH MORE can be found on the Indianapolis Indians website

Many thanks to the Indianapolis Indians and ISMM for a fun-filled evening!

I received four complimentary Indianapolis Indians tickets and a free tour in exchange for this blog post. All comments are 100% my own.
