Another Patty's Pretty Things creation: a Goodnight Moon wallhanging.
While I was searching for Halloween images on The Graphics Fairy blog, these moons caught my eye. I really wanted to use them in some way but wasn't sure exactly what I was going to do with them. So I cut some out and let them sit awhile. That's how my creative process works. Usually, a project will come to fruition in time. Sometimes they don't, but this one did.
I told Dan I was thinking of making a banner out of them and he immediately said, "Goodnight Moon." What a design team we make! He already edits my blog and now he is helping with my designs. LOL
I had fun taking pictures of it in different areas of my home. I didn't realize how well the moons would go with my walls and decor. I could see this used not only for Halloween, but also in the guest room or nursery...Hmmm...Maybe I'll put one in our guest room.
I really like these moons, so I made some into ornaments/gift tags too...
and flair/buttons!
Goodnight moons are available at the Logan Village Mall.

Great idea for a guest room door or nursery. You two make a great team. LOL
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend.

ReplyDeleteBrilliant, Patty. They are just brilliant!
ReplyDeleteOh, I like these! I bet your little grandson would enjoy them in a nursery. But they would go anywhere as a whimsical decoration.
ReplyDeleteLove the moons! When Dan retires he can run the next "Martha Stewart" empire! Love your ideas.
