Waltz of the Flower Fairies

I added some fun and whimsical things to my Etsy shop this weekend. First of all, I cut these vintage snowmen out of extra heavy cardstock so they can be used at gift tags or tree ornaments. Having just spent a week with my little 18-month old grandson in California, the snowmen remind me of his cute little face.

Then I did the same with these flower fairies.

I took the flower fairies a step further when I remembered I had this vintage sheet music entitled Waltz of the Flower Fairies. I thought they would be perfect with it so I mounted them onto the scanned sheet music. I left them as tags and tied the strings into bows to add texture. The piece is ready for an 8 x 10 inch frame.

Here they are framed.

I think I will be making more framables like the flower fairies. I have many pieces of vintage sheet music with really fun titles to adhere vintage cut outs onto them. My mind cannot stop thinking of creative things to make for the shop. It's so much fun!

  6. These are Sooo cute! Do you have any snowflakes? That's my theme this year and your tags would look great with my gifts!

  7. These are sooo cute, Patty. Like VEL above, I am using snowflakes and can just see some on a sheet of your vintage sheet music...
Gotta check out your shop now.

  8. Really cute idea. I covered a jar with printed sheet music entitled By the Crystal Sea and filled it with shells for the bathroom. Have a wonderful day. Tammy
