April's art class was enjoyable as always. This time we practiced layering with stamps. Here are the pieces I made that day.
Everybody loved layering with this little room stamp set.
And then I was trying to stamp in the blocks but got frustrated because I couldn't stay in the lines. I ran out of patience and didn't complete the layering process.
For our artist trading card exchange, we used colored pencils since that is what we practiced last time in class. The photos below show the progression of how my trading card was created.
I dabbled with different methods to finish the cards.
After applying glitter glue to the flowers, below is the final creation.
These are the trading cards I received from my friends.
Looking forward to next time when we compare Prima craft products.

Very cool....Next I imagine you will learn layering, while masking off - that is another fun technique! I wish our stamp club was still around!! The trading cards are so cute, especially yours!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a fun time.

Patty, That had to be a fun class. I loved all the cards. The room stamp is so darn cute. Hope you are loving this spring weather and the flowers. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteFun times! They all look great to me. Who cares about staying in the lines? In my book, handmade should never be perfect. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards, Patty! I especially like the floral ones you colored and the little chick. I have some of my own photos (some in Waterlogue, some just as is) made into notecards by a friend. It's fun to send cards of your own creation. :)
ReplyDeleteI love all the art you are doing.
