Holiday Book

I don't know how I got so lucky to have the opportunity to join my monthly art group. On top of being with 8 lovely ladies, one of them brings everything we need to make creative projects. For example, we made this little holiday binder that can be used in many ways. All of the paper was pretty much cut (we had to do a little cutting too) and ready for us to apply to the binder. After adhering the Santa image to the front, we added glitter and holly around the oval border.

We made pockets in which to place pre-made tags.

There are so many wonderful vintage Santa images on the market for us to enjoy.

We glued glitter to the center of the snowflakes on this paper to add some nice texture and sparkle.

It begins with a Santa and ends with a Santa. This holiday book is not only adorable for Christmas display, but memories can be journaled onto the tags to be remembered for years to come. Perhaps notes from each year could be on a different tag. The ideas are endless.

I look forward to our December Christmas party where we will bring a dish to share and have a gift exchange. These ladies, who have been friends for many years, all get along so well. While they laugh and tease each other, it is all in fun. I am grateful to be a part of the creativity and fun.

  1. Sounds like a great group. A lovely holiday book. Happy December!

  2. Love the holiday book. I just had my girlfriend party last night. So much fun. Have fun with your party.
