It amazes me how my creativity comes together. A few weeks ago, I had designed this card from several vintage kids' photos that I love. But I knew it wasn't complete, so I set it aside.
I had this photo and thought about cutting her out and putting her on top of the card to add dimension to it.
And finally, it all came together. I knew how to complete this card. I had to cover a few of the little guys but that is what collages are all about.
A pink heart embellishes her dress.
What are you creating today?

Patty I love your card. The children are so cute. The pink heart just finishes if perfect.
ReplyDeleteHave not had time to create today.
Rosezeeta.
I am like you - I have to put things aside for awhile until I get just the right inspiration.
ReplyDeleteLove the card. The sweet little girl looks a bit like some of my mother's baby photos.
Now that is just precious!
ReplyDeleteIt is perfect now Patty! I love how you put it all together!
ReplyDeleteHello from Spain: you are very creative. I like the heart. Nice card. Lovely. Keep in touch

Adorable!!! Patty, you are indeed a VERY creative soul. I imagine you are enjoying your retirement tremendously! My hubby just retired Jan. 2. I have been retired for a few years. We are enjoying spending time together.

Hi Patty!
ReplyDeleteYou're a crafting dynamo! Wish it would rub off on me, I'm a plodder.
Love your card! I seldom end up with the idea I began with on any project. I have to step away too and return with fresh eyes.
I'm not going to the Roaring Twenties Affaire after all. I was going to miss a bit and decided it wasn't worth the money if I wasn't going to participate in the whole shebang. WAH! Eager to hear what the theme will be for 2016!
Happy crafting! xo
