I had wondered how to make these birds nest pendants when I would see them in shops. Finally, I decided to research how to make them and discovered a very clever design. As you can see, I couldn't make just one! I used up all the wire in the package.

Indiana Antique Guide: Upscale Junk & Antiques
While in a local antique shop the other day, I spoke with a sweet lady about our passion for vintage things. She asked me if I had been to the new shop called Upscale Junk & Antiques. It's on US 31, in Cicero, Indiana. Dan & I had the opportunity to visit there last weekend and I found it to be one of the most beautifully decorated antique shops I've ever seen. Before I show you some of the decor, I want to show you this vintage stroller we saw. It about took my breath away! I immediately thought of a photo of me sitting in one that I have in my scrapbook album.

Fair Oaks Farms
There is a great halfway stop from our home to Chicago. It is the Fair Oaks Farms. I had been hearing about it for a long time from Dan who raved about the double chocolate milk shakes they serve there.

Children's Museum of Indianapolis
Last week I told you about how I attended a local blogger meeting at the Children's Museum of Indianapolis. After the meeting, we were allowed to tour the museum. I hadn't done that in such a long time since our children are all grown up! It was great fun and there was so much to see - but I will give you just a few highlights of what I saw.
These Chinese Terra Cotta Warriors are real, from China's Shaanxi Province.
