My Happy List: Macarons, Affirmations & The Children's Museum

(One) I suppose I can put these little snowmen figurines that have been sitting on my kitchen window sill away now. I hesitated to put them away with the other Christmas decorations awhile ago because it was such a crazy snowy winter. I do believe spring is on its way now.

Dan, me, Danny & Ashleigh in snowmen form - good-bye until next year!

Here are some photos of Korea I asked Dan to bring me back from his business trip. To start off, this is a traditional Korean wedding venue at the Mayfield Hotel and Resort in Seoul, Korea.

A Little Getaway for Fleas

Early last week, I indicated to Dan that I wanted to go to the Springfield, Ohio flea market that was held on Saturday. Springfield is located between Dayton and Columbus, Ohio, and the flea market is held once a month. He surprised me and made hotel accommodations for us for Friday evening so we could be at the flea market when the doors opened at 8 AM. What a sweet husband.

This is random, but have you taken a panorama photo with your iPhone? After we got home from our little trip and I lined up my stash, I had remembered that Ashleigh had taken a panorama photo while we were recently in California. (I didn't know my phone had this capability.) I thought it would be fun to take one of my new treasures. I couldn't quite figure it out on my own so I had to search the web to help me get it done. This is what I got after about 10 tries.

Indiana Antique Guide: Cambridge City, A Sweet Surprise

We've lived in Indiana almost 8 years now and have just discovered the quaint town of Cambridge City, Indiana. Why did it take so long?

St. Patrick's Day Tags & More

I've been having fun making St. Patrick's Day tags. This little boy is like a paper doll.

My Happy List: Shopping, Roadrunner & Green Beans

Seeing these lovely vintage baskets in an antique shop the other day reminded me of spring. I was tempted to get one but I don't think I could decide which one I liked the best. Too many choices.

A Reprieve From the Winter Weather

Ashleigh and I recently took a little trip to Southern California. It was so nice to get away for a minute from the frigid Indiana temperatures and snow. The beach was awesome. The cool breeze, smooth sand on our feet, and sounds of the ocean waves and birds were a delight to the senses.

Green BEAN Indiana Review

I was thrilled when I was asked by Green BEAN Indiana Organic Produce and Natural Groceries to review a complimentary delivery of organic produce right to my doorstep. Green BEAN is a local, year round service that delivers all-natural foods sourced from Midwest farmers and artisans. It gives members a healthy alternative to conventional grocery stores while supporting local farmers and artisans.

A green box arrived on our front porch filled with a small produce package valued at $35. I just happened to be home at that time (although you don't have to be home upon its arrival) and spoke with the delivery man. As he was showing me its contents, he told me that he is proud to work for Green BEAN because of the healthy foods that they offer to their customers.
